Rihanna is holding her fans hostage with anticipation over her soon to be released LP – Anti – that is expected to drop any day now.
In the meantime it has been confirmed that her lucrative collaboration with PUMA as the Creative Director for Womenswear – which began nearly a year ago will not be headed to the tents of New York Fashion Week next fall.
Her first collection of “Creepers” were unleashed this past September and the reception was overwhelming say the least – considering they sold out as soon as they were unveiled to the public.
This inspired another batch with varied hues including Peacoat/Cool Blue and Coral Cloud Pink. And this men are included in the fun if they have $120 to spare for a pair.
Fans also have the opportunity to win a trip to New York Fashion Week as it was announced through the Clara Lionel Foundation that a ticket will be auctioned off and the lucky winner will not only attend the fashion week but also have access to all the backstage excitement as well as a formal invite to the afterparty. You can also expect to walk away with an autographed pair PUMA’s Creepers.
The Barbadian singer and and actress is quite content with her working relationship with the high-end brand as she recently expressed in a statement.
“It’s great to find a brand that celebrates strength and individuality”. “I couldn’t think of a more perfect partner to collaborate with as a creative director. I’m excited for you to see what Puma and I come up with”.
But what about that long awaited album? I guess we’ll have to just wait and see.
