Vin Diesel is in the middle of reviving the xXx franchise and based on the images and videos that populate his Facebook and Instagram page – it looks filming for The Return of Xander Cage is going quite well.
Another franchise that continues to defy all the odds has to be Fast & Furious – the global phenomenon that continues to be a force to reckon with even after the tragic passing of actor Paul Walker who died in a car crash while on hiatus from filming the seventh installment.
Vin Diesel is going to be a very busy man in the next couple of years. The action star may be rapidly approaching fifty but he is more determined than ever to maximize the remaining good years he’s got left. And he’s got a lot of them!
The people have spoken! And what they have to say for the most part makes a lot of sense.
On Wednesday night, stars from film, television, and music came together to represent the industry responsible for their ever-flowing success as well as to honor the wishes of die-hard fans that have the power to make or break their careers.
It’s hard to believe its been two years since Fast and Furious star Paul Walker perished in a car crash along with his friend Roger Rodas after the two attended a charity event sponsored by their company, Always Evolving.
The Fast franchise is not bowing out anytime soon so keep your engines revved up because its only going to get better.
It’s that time of year again! Awards season is heating up and as the year comes to an end – the industry is gearing up for another round of non-stop festivities.
The Golden Globes and the Oscars are great and all but when it comes down to it – the voice of the people is what truly matters.
After days of speculation and a teaser photo courtesy of Vin Diesel – it was confirmed on Thursday that Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray will helm the eighth installment of the billion dollar franchise that rocked the box office to its core this past spring. Gray tweeted his excitement at the prospect of garnering one of the most privileged assignments in Hollywood.
That was quick. Less than a week after actor and producer Vin Diesel hinted on his Facebook page that he was more than willing to direct the 8th installment of the Fast franchise after the search for James Wan’s replacement was yielding no results – Diesel updated his page with a very telling photo. The pic features him and Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray with smiles on their faces, sitting behind the backdrop of a board populated with images from the past Fast and Furious films.
