Adele is having a very good year so far! The new mom just recently added Oscar winner to her impressive roster of accolades after her theme song Skyfall won best Original Song at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
Now she is gracing the cover of Elle Magazine’s Women in Music issue, looking rather fetching and seductively serene. The photo shoot took place at L.A.’s EastWest Studios, and the British crooner donned a lace confection by Alberta Ferretti. The finished product certainly assembles a retro feel and that could be due to the fact that iconic performers like Frank Sinatra made EastWest Studios their dwelling place back in the day.
There are also some familiar faces attending this exclusive party; Alicia Keys rocked to the music of Grace Jones on the rooftop of Siren Studios and Rita Ora held it down across the pond and goofed around in a Mickey Mouse inspired outfit.
But the honored guest is definitely Adele, which is no surprise when you consider how her skyrocketing career has left all of us breathless and panting for more. Her famous peers are also eager to sing her praises, including, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and the grand dame herself Barbra Streisand.
