Mastermind Karl Lagerfeld is back to his theatrics and this time he has his willing subjects spellbound. His love for travel was quite apparent in the themes he chose to highlight in his collection for Chanel.
From the impressively modern and futuristic plane replica complete with a fully equipped cabin and roomy aisle to the cool hued temps, Lagerfeld’s passengers were more than eager for takeoff.
And the destination was to utter decadence and a literal blue heaven. All shades of blue to be exact, as each model showed off comfortably functional pieces that played on the integrity of elegance and the luxury of being a world-class shopper without a budget. There were sleek ensembles mixed in with stunning bejeweled compartments, the dimensions were perfectly defined and aligned with glimpses of wider cuts especially in the sleeves.
Its pretty clear that Karl Lagerfeld is focused on being the ringleader in this over-populated circus of style forecasters, and from the look of this deliciously simplistic collection, he should have no problem hypnotizing the crowds.
