Somebody’s fantasy is about to be realized! HBO’s certified gem Game of Thrones will be getting the IMAX treatment in about 150 theaters across the country from January 23-29.
It seems like a fitting way for the charismatic show that has captivated a wide audience to showcase their last episodes from season 4. Audiences will also get a glimpse of the trailer for upcoming season 5 which will debut in April.
We can only imagine a spectacular offering from the elaborate series that never seems to lack any of the values that make our obsession warranted.
Pamela Levine, a marketing executive at HBO gave her take on why Game of Thrones is good enough for a theatrical release, “The cinematic brilliance and grand scope of the series is perfect for the IMAX format”. “We are always looking to provide fans with new and exciting ways to experience the show and viewing two key episodes, along with the new trailer, on such an impressive platform makes for a great event”.
We couldn’t agree more and it is safe to say that it will not be a challenging process getting those seats filled!
