Motherhood can be an arousing emotion and clearly Sarah Burton was nudged by the ancestral bonds of infinity when she envisioned her latest masterpiece.
This time, she chose quality over quantity and limited her supply to 10 ornate pieces, which she can’t be blamed for, considering she just recently gave birth to twins.
There is definitely an indication that Burton transcended into a deeper archangelic realm for her latest collection due to the heavy doses of celestial imprints and climatic renderings.
Appropriately implemented at the Opera Comique, it was a decadent production that converted any unbeliever present to believe in the glory of the anointed one, a true prophet who has the power to deliver us from the clutches of predictability.
Even the heavenly host guarding the path to righteousness has to admit that being outfitted in any of the pieces churned out by Burton would be the lovely answer to any prayer.
Each of the communal offerings trumpeted the orchestral union with England’s thriving monarchy, a constant driving force for Burton.
This is what an imaginative oasis looks like and it makes the sometimes dizzying process of fashion week worth the effort.
