The wait is over and it looks like President Barack Obama will remain in the White House for four more years, while Mitt Romney will probably take a well deserved vacay!
After an intense battle filled with number games, graphic slides and timeline analysis, President Obama claimed the deal-breaker state of Ohio and emerged victorious with 274 electoral votes vs Romney’s 201. It was a close call and as of press time, the Romney camp refuses to concede until they are absolutely sure that Ohio truly belongs to the President- Elect. (This just in: Romney made the CALL to Obama – He is ready to concede)
As satisfying as Obama’s win is to most, it is also a sobering time when you consider the fact that Romney ended up winning the popular vote which proves that the nation is still very much torn and tormented and ready for CHANGE.
The celebratory climate wont last long at the White House, as this race should be a wakeup call for the man who diligently used the slogan YES WE CAN to light up the hearts of desperate citizens four years ago.
Hopefully The President-Elect will do all he CAN to make his next term the best time of all our lives.
