The glow of summer or the climbing temps isn’t distracting H&M’s work ethic, the retailer is hard at work wooing their next collaborators. Paris-based Maison Martin Margiela is rumored to be the next in line to produce a holiday collection for H&M.
The fashion house is an interesting choice considering their affinity for edgier more provocative themes. Margeiela’s Belgian founder stepped away in 2009 so the company has been functioning on an in-house schedule but that hasn’t done anything to diminish their appeal.
There is some concern regarding how well the quality will hold up when translated to mass-production but that’s why teamwork is a key component for success.
H&M has yet to confirm the recent rumblings but it still gives us something to look forward to as the year winds down.
