Mariah Carey Heads to E! For New DocuSeries, ‘Mariah’s World’

The Kardashians and Jenners better ready up! The Diva of all Divas – Mariah Carey is about to shake things up over at The K channel otherwise known as E!

According to The New York Times, the woman with a voice that remains unmatched is about to delve into the delightfully murky waters of Reality TV through an eight-part documentary series titled Mariah’s World.

The hour long episodic – will capture the reverie behind the global star’s flamboyantly catered tour machine.

The newest member of the E! Family will not be in any competition with the existing offerings because based on Carey’s assessment; Mariah’s World apparently isn’t “a reality show”.

While speaking to the Times, the Vision of Love singer explains why her show shouldn’t be categorized with such carelessness, “I thought it would be a good opportunity to kind of, like show my personality and who I am, even though I feel like my fans have an idea of who I am. A lot of people have misconceptions about this and that”.

Sounds cool enough but that basically falls in line with what most would expect from a show that is supposed to be based on the real life exploits of a celebrity.

That being said, it’s hard to imagine Mariah’s World not blossoming especially if it promises no guest appearances from the First Family of Reality Trashiness.

No confirmation of when fans can expect to begin their journey into the life and world of Ms. Carey but it could be as soon as this summer or early fall.
