Twitter Chases Away Iggy Azalea But What Else is New?

Iggy Azalea, the rapper everyone loves to hate but secretly digs, has decided to take an extended leave of absence from Twitter because of the mean tweets inspired by her bikini shots.

Apparently the arch nemesis of Azealia Banks was pummeled by negative comments about her vacation bod and the words hit a little too close to home.

In response to all her haters who are probably more peeved that she was able to take a fab vacation than the fact that she has “cellulite”, the Australian export tweeted, “Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it’s shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite”.

Then as things got progressively worse, Iggy took drastic measures by denouncing her affiliation with Twitter and its boorish users.

“I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that…To become nasty because of the way I feel I am treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smilng…But I also want to let my fans know I am taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining…My management will tweet/run my accounts from today onwards with updates etc unless any message is signed – IA. Love you all. Peace out!”

I am sure her fans are heartbroken but when all is said and done, social media is a cesspool of craziness that never ends so if you can’t take the heat…
