Janet Jackson Reportedly Expecting First Child at 50

According to Entertainment Tonight – Singer and actress Janet Jackson is expecting her first child with hubby Wissam Al Mana.

A source confirmed to the news outlet that the 49-year-old pop icon who turns 50 in a couple of weeks is indeed pregnant, which doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering that early last month – Jackson posted a video message to fans explaining why she had to abruptly halt her tour.

Jackson’s post on Twitter indicated that her desire to have a baby had become her top priority – “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to have delay the tour.”

The star went on to explain that she was following “doctor’s orders” and thanked her fans for their loyalty and understanding. She also promised to get back on the road “as soon as I possibly can.”

Jackson has been married to Al Mana, 41, since 2012 – but decided to wait until the following year to confirm her wedded status.

If the reports are true – this will be her first child with hubby No. 3.
