Topshop has invaded South Africa and the welcome infection will surely spread to all the indigenous shoppers who dare to venture into the 10,000 square-foot-square store in the Standton City shopping center.
The buzz has electrified the surrounding residents, which proves that this venture will be a profitable one in every aspect of the definition.
Eager shoppers can expect the price points to conform to the regulatory itinerary, taking in consideration the tariffs implemented on international cargo. Compared to the UK the prices are slightly higher due to the import and operating costs. But at the end of the day it all evens out because customers are being serenaded with impeccable style at a price that still remains affordable.
Another major retailer who has made waves and created the path for other henchman to follow is Zara. Thanks to their much heralded and celebrated arrival, the forecast is favorable for the other franchises that are also looking to set up shop in South Africa.
Hopefully the other facets of Africa will succumb to the infectious need for global penetration in the retail arena.
