Veronique Branquinho has clearly benefitted from her three year sabbatical; her latest offering is coded in sedately warm undertones and gravitates towards the casual chic momentum.
The silhouettes featured free flowing Grecian inspired gowns, articulately constructed trousers and well-endowed shirt blouses. The running theme throughout the collection seemed to rest on the familiar comfort of roomy elegance without losing the much needed edge or definition.
Branquinho has definitely perfected the ability to allow her garments to hang effortlessly on its model in a way that exaggerates the intricate cervices of the female form while also celebrating the idea of fluid simplicity.
It’s not an exaggeration to demand that we all have every piece of this collection in our closets.
