Paris Fashion Week is currently underway and caps off a very successful and fruitful season that overflowed with chaotic energy filled with all things beautiful and bountiful.
Among the highlights was the showing by industry rebel Gareth Pugh, who definitely didn’t deviate from his consistently revered avant-garde themes.
The color scheme helped evoke the almost futuristic tone of the collection. Variations of black and gray dominated the runway, and the looks bordered on edgy and appealingly moody.
It was a somber affair complete with black raindrops providing the dramatic effect to help support the streams of models decked out in decadent structures of fur and leather.
The architecture was precise with some lines slightly provoked, and despite the theatrical atmosphere, there was still a sense of durability and functionality that seemed relatable, proving once again that Pugh is a reliable source for the unrelenting risk taker.
