50 Cent To Produce and Appear on Fox Comedy Series, ‘My Friend 50’

Curtis Jackson also known as “50 Cent” is on a roll with newly released singles and TV projects on the horizon. His current hit series on Starz – Power is gaining a lot of momentum as the secret is out about the irresistible grittiness that fuels the storylines.

Riding on the heels of that success, the Queens, NY native is hell bent on expanding his empire to make room for more must-see TV – which explains why he is teaming up with mega producer Will Packer to produce a single-camera comedy appropriately titled – My Friend 50.

After being shopped around – Fox ended up landing the series that will focus on an eccentric 20-something groupie named Amanda Kramer who is convinced that being a part of 50 Cent’s entourage will solve all her issues. What ensues is hilariously revealing as viewers are along for the ride through the unstable lenses of the main character who also narrates her bizarre experiences with her road dogs.

In addition to be an executive producer, Jackson will also make sporadic appearances on the show.

The project is still in early development as casting and production is ongoing but this already sounds like a winner!
