‘Sharknado 4’ Treads Into ‘Housewives’ Territory, Adds Cynthia Bailey to Cast

According to The Wrap, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Cynthia Bailey is about to flex her acting muscles in a role that shouldn’t be too much of a stretch since the model is faced with the task of battling frenemies on Bravo’s staple franchise – while keeping her prized template intact.

Bailey has been added to the cast of Syfy’s long-running and profitable joke Sharknado 4.  She will play the role of a rocket scientist opposite another blast from the past who is wiling to do what it takes to initiate relevancy – comedian Tommy Davidson.

Original talents Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will be back for more mayhem and chaos – and this time the fourth installment will fast forward five years and continue the antics of Gary Busey’s Wilford Wexler as he propels his quest to produce revolutionary prototypes of robotics.

Former Baywatch stud David Hasselhoff will also return to reprise his role as well as former model Cheryl Tiegs.

No matter what we think about the audacity of the Sharknado franchise – we can’t help but imagine how much more fun the casting process is compared to the actual implementation.
