Author of ‘The Notebook’, Nicholas Sparks is Ending Marriage and “Happily Ever After”

The Notebook was a captivating film staring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams who both fell under the spell of their two characters by falling in love in real life.

The man who has given so many the will to keep going in the hopes that love will find them is proving that he is not beyond the unfortunate grips of reality.

Nicholas Sparks, 49, has confirmed to People magazine that he and his wife of 25 years are separating.

The author of books to film like A Walk to Remember, Nights in Rodanthe and Best of Me, which recently received the big screen treatment starring Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden once admitted back in 1989 that his wife Cathy was his muse.

And now she is about to be his ex-wife, which will likely provide inspiration for his next batch of literary offerings. His characters already tend to fall in line with his present status. The possibility that even after giving yourself to an early love – you can find that same level of passion later in life is a running theme in some of his books.

Hopefully Sparks will find respite indulging in his own curation.
