Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren took refuge in the arms of symmetrically constructed coverings that draped protectively over the lithesome frames that paraded the runway.
Fall is the best time to be exploratory and bold, and the latest collection from these two gents will make that transition a remarkably easy one. Most of the pieces were doused with variant shades of gray but there was nothing forlorn about the outlook. Instead it was a rousing homage to the images that penetrate the forecast of a season that requires only the best in fabrics and construction.
But it wasn’t a complete surrender to the dark and temperate, as pops of electric hues and juxtaposition prints provided playful interludes.
The silhouettes wavered between echoes of astute elegance to refined edginess with sprinkles of relaxed sophistication.
Battling the frigid elements never looked so good!
