It was a galaxy of the fantastical and the nostalgic trek through the transparently decadent era that gave Oscar de la Renta’s fluent production a consensual thumps up.

There was definitely a 60’s resonance in the air, right down to the makeup and hair. The circus of taffeta, cinematic tulle, untidy feathers and untamed embellishments, and gentile embroidery were all converted into ceremonious suits, lavish evening dresses and delectably stunning shorts. The color scheme elected vibrantly bold strokes complimented with pious patterns that enhanced the tonal energy and kept our heroines in perfect unison.
