Bebe is thinking about a new strategy to lure more customers into their lair. They haven’t fully recovered from the hit they took from the recession and now they are ready for a major re-boot.
This would entail a more sophisticated and elegant theme in the hopes that they will cater to a slightly older more refined crowd. According to Emilia Fabricant, Bebe’s president, they are hoping to provide pieces that are versatile and effortless as well as multi-functional. The days of outrageously loud fabrics and revealing cuts are slowly coming to an end.
Once they settle into their new groove, bridal wear will be the next item on their agenda and they are forecasting a March debut.
Hopefully this new venture will be a step in the right direction for Bebe. Fingers crossed!
