Movie deals are made and broken all the time but we sure didn’t see this one coming. After Aaron Sorkin made the announcement that Christian Bale was poised to portray Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a biopic being helmed by Danny Boyle; news broke a week later that Bale opted out and now the search begins for his replacement.
Aaron Sorkin, who has garnered an impressive roster of hits under his belt including The West Wing and his most recent gem, The Newsroom just confirmed in a Bloomberg Television interview that actor Christian Bale is slated to portray Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs in a film based on a Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography titled Steve Jobs.
The racial climate in the country is teetering on extreme hostility and apparently Hollywood is not able to escape the inevitable backlash.
