Designer Monique Lhuillier has enjoyed a thriving career thanks to her homage to the delicacies of elegance and her ability to be intricately precise especially during the moments that define a lifetime.
That explains why she is particularly lauded for her bridal wear, but she will also be recognized for something even more prolific, after she agreed to embark on her one of her most ambitious project yet.
Lhuillier applied her architectural skills in a more fundamental way by constructing a dollhouse that mirrors her recently installed New York flagship store. The impeccably decked out wonderland is her touching contribution in support of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, and will be auctioned off on April 17th. She joins an impressive legion of designers including, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Mary McDonald, Jeffrey Alan Marks and Estee Stanley.
The indelible project proved to be quite challenging for Lhuillier who was forced to modify her skilled senses in order to accommodate the miniature blueprint necessary for a life like replica.
Judging from the released images, it looks like she succeeded!
