If anyone is keeping up with the T.O. Show on VH1, you must be just as flabbergasted as we are by the stream of tears that appear on cue whenever Owens is having is a major breakdown.
Nothing wrong with a sensitive guy who loses it once in awhile, but this season has been particularly intense and disturbing considering the number of times the reality star and athlete has “lost” it.
If we weren’t that worried then, we should be now that he was reportedly rushed to the hospital after a frantic 911 was placed when he was found unconscious due to a possible prescription pill overdose. This of course brings back the now resuscitated 2006-rumored suicide attempt.
His career is still in limbo and the new season of his show, sheds light on his personal struggles including trying to be being an active dad to his children. He is also filmed trying to get back into shape after knee surgery and convincing himself that he can still revive his career against all odds. With a full load of life-changing uncertainties, it’s no wonder that he was able to dramatically breaking down and garner sympathy whenever the cameras necessitated it. The macho man persona has vanished making way for a man struggling to regain control for the sake of himself and his die-hard fans.
He has since been released and is doing okay considering, but perhaps its time for Terrell Owens to take a bow from the spotlight and focus on conquering his demons.
