Now that presidential hopeful Donald Trump is out of the way, NBC is moving full speed ahead with the task of ensuring that Season 8 of hit staple Celebrity Apprentice continues its streak of drama-filled fodder. And based on the roster of stars added to the mix – there is certainly going to be a plethora of must-see moments emanating from the famous boardroom.
As usual – the celebs that will be competing for the ultimate title and stamped validation have been purposely selected to provide the utmost level of entertainment that won’t disappoint especially when you add Jersey Shore’s fireball – Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi to the list.
Yep, it has been confirmed that the Reality TV star will be a participant alongside two staples of the Real Housewives franchise – Kyle Richards (Beverly Hills) and Porsha Williams (Atlanta). Somehow we can’t help but imagine that Williams will be handed her walking papers almost immediately after her arrival. Unless she’s gotten a lot smarter since her unfortunate remarks about the “underground railroad”.
The rest of the cast includes, Culture Club lead singer, Boy George, Wilson Phillips very own Carnie Wilson, funnyman and SNL alum Jon Lovitz, Laila Ali – the daughter of icon Mohammed Ali who like her father enjoyed a measure of success inside the ring, Vince Neil from Motley Crue, Queer Eye’s Carson Kressley – who looks even weirder now than he did then, former host of Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Burke-Charvet, and former host of Big Morning Buzz Live, Carrie Keagan.
Martial artist Chael Sonnen, former football star Eric Dickerson, America Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman, and Heismann Trophy recipient Ricky Williams round out the colorful team of competitors.
And if you think that group selection sounds otherworldly – wait till you get a load of the new set of judges that will be deciding the fate of the budding entrepreneurs.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will take over Trump’s role as the show’s host which means he has the final say. He will also have a slew of prominent guests stopping by to support his efforts. Warren Buffet, Honest Company co-founder, Jessica Alba, Tyra Banks, Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and the Terminator actor’s nephew Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger have all been confirmed as guest judges.
Although no premiere date has been announced – we can assume that NBC will not miss The Donald at all. Not with this very ambitious lineup and the anticipation that the former governor of California’s parting line to the eliminated contestant will be “You’re Terminated’.
Now, that’s worth tuning in for!
