Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is clearly a woman of independent means. As the wife of the former of the former President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, the former model and occasional crooner can now add politics to her list of accomplishments.
But once a cover girl, always a cover girl, and it’s a pleasurable sight to see Carla Bruni returning to her roots in such a graceful way as she dons the December issue of French Vogue.
She is absolutely radiant in each of the pictorials that were shot by dynamic pair, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot as well as Mario Sorrenti. The 45-year-old former ingénue is also the guest editor and subject of a four-page interview.
She is in pretty good company considering the list of names that have also been bequeathed the same honor of being guest editors for the highly regarded pub, namely Stephanie of Monaco and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
You can get your hands on the holiday issue of Vogue Paris when it hits newsstands Dec. 3.
