The Summer of Love has always been epitomized in every culture. The heat and the carefree altitude is supposed to awaken the senses after its been buried under the cold spell of winter.
So what perfect timing for the LOVE GODDESS to touch down in one of the most ambitious cities in the world to help revive any stagnant sensual energy or better yet transform loyal friends to passionate lovers.
Australian native Rebecca McIntosh inhabits the role of Aphrodite and uses her artistic and journalistic instincts to convey the message of love and lust in a soulfully interactive way via her now global phenomenon, LOVE TV. All this is transported with the aid of her super duper hot pink van that happens to be sculptured in the image of a television. Clearly subtlety is not an option. But you can’t be demure when you are trying to lure as many celebrities and cultural icons as possible into your flaming lair.
Aphrodite is more than up to the task and masterfully directs her very own episodes of Sex and the Cities. She begins the theatrics by parking her mobile set in some of the most vibrantly flavored neighborhoods and allowing the curiously driven locals to partake in the love fest that is brewing inside. They not only get to publicly share their most adventurous escapades, but they also get to illuminate some of their secret fantasies by nominating a celebrity guest who they would LOVE to see interrogated by Aphrodite.
It’s a free for all exhibition and only the daring need apply! Speaking of daring, NYC is definitely a playground for the bold and beautiful so it makes sense that a hot pink stud on wheels would stop by for a couple of weeks to heat up the city.
If you are not retreating to an exotic resort or dashing off to Hamptonville, you just might have the unique opportunity to re-awaken you devotion to the city that never sleeps by participating in New York Summer 2012 – the LOVE TV edition.
