Amid all the endless speculation that her marriage to Jay Z is in disarray, Beyonce needs some uplifting news to help counteract the non-stop madness.
The main theme of this year seems to tinge on inexplicable loss especially in the music industry. First Whitney Houston’s tragic passing back in February, then a few weeks ago we said a tearful goodbye to Beastie Boys main MC, Adam Yauch, and now we are confronted with another reason to bid adieu to another immeasurable talent who was a legend in her own right.
It has been confirmed that Adam Yauch, 47, who along with Adam Horovitz, co-founded one of hip hop’s most iconic groups Beastie Boys, has passed away after an almost three year battle with cancer.
It was first reported by TMZ, that rapper Heavy D who dominated the music scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s with hits like Now That We Found Love, Somebody For Me, Who’s The Man as well as the theme song for cult favorite In Living Color, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon after being transported to a hospital in LA after he was found unconscious outside his home.
