Woody Allen Recruits Miley Cyrus For Amazon TV Series

Famed director Woody Allen is venturing into unknown territory as he embarks on what will be his most ambitious project yet.

The 80-year-old filmmaker is in the middle of casting his first ever TV series and Amazon is on board to help produce. The deal between the two heavy weights was announced last year and now there is a new unexpected development.

Singer Miley Cyrus has been cast which is a strong indication that audiences will be in for a real treat. Not much has been divulged about the series which supposedly takes place during the swinging sixties, but the 23-year-old who is reportedly engaged (again) to Hunger Games star, Liam Hemsworth – is part of the principal cast.

Sources confirm that shooting will begin sooner rather than later which means that in just a matter of weeks, Miley Cyrus will be taking orders from Woody Allen.
