Jay Z and Beyonce Are Leaving The Big Apple and Heading for The Hills

It looks like the music industry’s most illustrious couple will be switching coasts as it has been reported that Jay Z and Beyonce will be leaving The Big Apple for the City of Angels.

TMZ dropped the bombshell about the big move and even confirmed that the couple is currently calling the Beverly Hills Hotel home as they shop around for their new abode. In the meantime, their daughter Blue Ivy has already been enrolled in a private school, which is reason enough to believe that this is pretty much a done deal.

The king and queen of hip-hop are setting their sights on the west side of Los Angeles – which means enclaves like Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Holmbly Hills will be likely options.

This isn’t necessarily a shocking revelation since the couple did spend considerable time in LA last summer – staying at a Beverly Hills rental that cost $200,000-a-month.

They also have a sprawling loft in Tribeca that they probably will hold on to since it served as the venue for their wedding back in 2008.

Can New York survive the departure of one its most revered residents? Only time will tell.
