Cover Trends: Gwen Stefani Tells ‘Cosmopolitan’ that Gavin is “Too Hot” For Her

Cosmopolitan magazine hit all the right notes with their March issue – thanks to the crazy, sexy, cool girl gracing the cover – No Doubt’s gorgeous frontwoman and L.A.M.B.’s avant garde designer, Gwen Stefani.  

Life has definitely been very good to the ageless 45-year-old especially when you consider she is betrothed to one of the hottest guys in the industry – Bush’s lead singer, Gavin Rossdale.

The couple have three kids together and have weathered their share of challenges but the secret to their long-standing union lies in maintaining individuality according to Stefani. She tells the mag, “I think that’s what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality. That’s especially important for women – it’s hard to find time for yourself”.

It also doesn’t hurt to be married to a rocker who happens to also be a stud! The Hollerback Girl singer is still blown away that she managed to garner a “hot guy” considering she wasn’t particularly popular in high school. But she obviously developed into a stunner – and the rest is history.

Not only did she get one of the hottest guys on the planet – but she also produced the cutest sons any mother could ask for and she is convinced her hubby had a lot to do with that by declaring, “he makes really cute babies”.

As for her enviable music career, Stefani admits that her parents were skeptical about her pursuing it full time, but despite being encouraged to regulate it as a hobby, she decided to go for it and her gamble paid off – but she is still humble about her roster of accomplishments. “I’ve never gotten to a point where I felt, ‘Okay, I’ve made it, I’m number one!’ It’s an amazing feeling to hit number one, but it’s not that different a feeling from not being number one. It’s really about the journey – that’s where the joy comes. It’s not about the end result, because there isn’t really ever an end”.
