Trendy TV Report: Gwen Stefani Eyeing Christina Aguilera’s Gig at NBC’s The Voice

It isn’t official yet, but it’s pretty likely that No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani, will fill the seat vacated by Christina Aguilera, a judge on NBC’s The Voice, who recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child.

Stefani became a mother for the third time not too long ago, but is clearly ready to start tackling new projects and her timing couldn’t be better.

Her addition to the talent show will only boost the already star filled lineup that includes, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and the recently added Pharrell Williams, who served as a replacement for Cee Lo Green. The parade of mentors have also been quite impressive, among them, Aloe Blacc, Jill Scott and Cold Play’s Chris Martin.

It’s pretty clear that The Voice is aiming for loftier heights based on the high profile names attached to the show.
