The\u00a0TONY Awards<\/strong>\u00a0were back last night for another celebratory walk down the magical sidewalks of Broadway. Actor and host\u00a0Neil Patrick Harris<\/strong>\u00a0was back to the wow the crowd with his impressive showmanship and of course the musical numbers flowed and vibrated the stage, reminding us why the theater is truly where the heart is.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately CBS<\/strong> didn\u2019t hit a home run this year in the ratings category, viewership has been consistently down over the past few years and last night was no exception.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless it was festive night for all the winners, among them were, Audra McDonald<\/strong> took home the Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for \u201cThe Gershwin\u2019 Porgy and Bess\u201d, Judith Light<\/strong> won Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for \u201cDesert Cities\u201d, and Steve Kazee<\/strong> nabbed Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.<\/p>\n
