But are they justified in their claims that the adverts are offensive and unjustified?<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMC<\/strong>, the network that houses <strong>Mad Men<\/strong> issued a statement, \u201cThe image of Don Draper tumbling through space has been used sine the show began in 2007 to represent a man whose life is in turmoil. The image used in the campaign is intended to serve as a metaphor for what is happening in Don Draper\u2019s fictional life and in no way references actual events\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This debate is a toughie because both sides have legitimate arguments.
