According to Entertainment Tonight<\/a> – Singer and actress Janet Jackson is expecting her first child with hubby Wissam Al Mana.<\/p>\n

A source confirmed to the news outlet that the 49-year-old pop icon who turns 50 in a couple of weeks is indeed pregnant, which doesn\u2019t come as much of a surprise considering that early last month \u2013 Jackson posted a video message to fans explaining why she had to abruptly halt her tour.<\/p>\n

Jackson\u2019s post on Twitter indicated that her desire to have a baby had become her top priority \u2013 \u201cI thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I\u2019m going to have to have delay the tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star went on to explain that she was following \u201cdoctor\u2019s orders\u201d and thanked her fans for their loyalty and understanding. She also promised to get back on the road \u201cas soon as I possibly can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson has been married to Al Mana, 41, since 2012 \u2013 but decided to wait until the following year to confirm her wedded status.<\/p>\n

If the reports are true – this will be her first child with hubby No. 3.<\/p>\n
