Anzaldo explained to NBC News that the legally prescribed drugs \u2013 Valium and Ambien that were found near her bed \u00a0– were not ingested in the manner that was recommended which led to the wrestler\u2019s untimely death.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe accidently and unintentionally misused her legally prescribed medication over the course of 2-3 weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
After her death was officially confirmed on her Facebook page \u2013 a video of the 45-year-old that was supposedly posted three days before her demise, resurfaced and showed the woman who was also known as the \u201c9th<\/sup> wonder of the world\u201d – in a disturbing state of disorientation as she scoured her apartment while slurring her words and sporting a prominently bruised eye.<\/p>\nThere is no question that the former wrestling champion was suffering in her final days and perhaps there will be some answers to the questions haunting those she left behind.<\/p>\n
Anzaldo is in the process of working with the renowned Dr. Bennet Omalu who requested to have the late wrestler\u2019s brain for the purpose of extended study and verification of the after effects of the brutal sport that made her star.<\/p>\n
