Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales<\/em> will be the fifth installment and as expected Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow\u00a0will have to contend with delightfully barbaric fodder courtesy of a posse that will include returning co-stars, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa and Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar.<\/p>\nKaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites are the new players to the maddening fold and key connector Orlando Bloom will be back as Will Turner.<\/p>\n
McCartney\u2019s contribution to the film will be as the notable extra, which is still more than enough to propel this starrer to \u201chighly-anticipated\u201d status.<\/p>\n
The Pirates<\/em> franchise definitely has a thing for rockers \u2013 remember Rolling Stones icon, Keith Richards in 2011\u2019s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides<\/em>? Richards played Captain Teague who also happened to be Sparrow\u2019s father.<\/p>\nNo way to tell how this latest offering will stand up to the rest but we won\u2019t find out until the film\u2019s official release date \u2013 May 26, 2017.<\/p>\n
