This has contributed to the increasing problem with illiteracy which affects at least 500 million girls globally.<\/p>\n<p>The signed letter was purposely released two days before International Women\u2019s Day, and outlines the current deplorable state of affairs, \u201cNowhere on earth do women have as many opportunities as men. Nowhere.
