His specific call of duty will be prompted by SXSW Interactive, where he will be the keynote speaker \u2013 assisted by Evan Smith, editor-in-chief of the Texas Tribune.<br \/>\nThe conversation will be seeped in the topics of utmost concern \u2013 notably politics and climate change. President Obama will be tasked with the mission to encourage audience members to take advantage of the resources around them by applying their specific talents to propel change and progress.<br \/>\nFirst Lady Michelle Obama will also be busy gathering her troops and leading them to a better tomorrow. She is scheduled to speak at SXSW Music on March 16 \u2013 where she will lead the discussion around the Let Girls Learn initiative \u2013 a project that is geared towards ending the educational draught for the 62 million girls all over the world who are currently not attending school.<br \/>\nAs mentioned earlier, SXSW is celebrating its 30th year and co-founder Rolan Swenson expressed why having the president and the first lady is particularly relevant given the current climate, \u201cI can\u2019t imagine a better way to celebrate our event\u2019s 30th year than to welcome both the president and first lady to SXSW\u201d. \u201cAs each new generation comes up at SXSW, they look for ways they can be of service, and it\u2019s important to reflect and support that message.
