It was also a stunning visual fantasy with an all-star cast that featured Will Smith, Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullham, Harry Connick Jr. and Jeff Goldblum, and Judd Hirsch.<\/div>\n
Now two decades later – the chaos is back with Independence Day: Resurgence<\/em>\u00a0– and this time it looks like things are getting even more intense which Goldblum’s character asserts in the trailer as the backdrop of events confirms that his worst fears have come true. He narrates, “I’ve spent 20 years trying to get us ready for this”. “We used their technology to strengthen our planet. But it won’t be enough”.<\/div>\n
