Wild + wonderful\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The stunning doll is part of Mattel\u2019s \u201cSheroes\u201d series and was never intended for the pubic but fans of the famed filmmaker were adamant that Mattel accommodate their requests for the option to purchase the Barbie.<\/p>\n<p>The iconic toymaker finally gave in after it was clear that the demand for a mass production was overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t hard to figure out why so many are captivated \u2013 the doll aesthetically captures the essence of DuVernay \u2013 down to her signature hairstyle and the director\u2019s chair.<\/p>\n<p>The exciting news that there will be a limited supply of the doll will undoubtedly initiate chaos, as shoppers are on standby as they prepare to secure what will undoubtedly be the coolest Christmas gift ever!<\/p>\n<p>But there still is no word yet regarding how eager consumers can go about making their purchase.
