{"id":12191,"date":"2013-08-26T22:32:15","date_gmt":"2013-08-26T22:32:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/?p=12191"},"modified":"2013-08-26T22:32:15","modified_gmt":"2013-08-26T22:32:15","slug":"trendy-bits-miley-cyrus-bleakly-exposed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/26\/trendy-bits-miley-cyrus-bleakly-exposed\/","title":{"rendered":"Trendy Bits: Miley Cyrus Bleakly Exposed"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start --><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So unless you have been buried under a rock, you must be privy to the hoopla surrounding <strong>Miley Cyrus\u2019<\/strong> gyrating antics during the<strong> VMA<\/strong> telecast Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013-mtv-video-music-awards-show.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12192\" alt=\"2013-mtv-video-music-awards-show\" src=\"http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013-mtv-video-music-awards-show.jpg\" width=\"635\" height=\"423\" srcset=\"http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013-mtv-video-music-awards-show.jpg 635w, http:\/\/mytrendybuzz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013-mtv-video-music-awards-show-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 20-year-old singer and former Disney darling has been working overtime to shed her \u201cgood girl\u201d image, and so far we have to say Mission Accomplished!<\/p>\n<p>Cyrus has been indulging in an orgy of provocative vices for the past two years and like it or not, she\u2019s on a roll. Her engagement last year to Australian actor <strong>Liam Hemsworth<\/strong> at the ripe age of nineteen demonstrated her allegiance to the unconventional route.<\/p>\n<p>But it so far it seems like Cyrus is overdosing when it comes to asserting her independence. Like they say, too much of anything is not good for you and tends to make you sick. After her sexually explicit display at the <strong>VMAs,<\/strong> perhaps it\u2019s time to pull the reins and bathe in a pool of serenity with sprinkles of youthful idealism.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, as we get older and graduate from the teenage years, there is a sense of hurried maturity that almost always overwhelms our psyche and if you have the freedom and resources to live out your most outrageous fantasies, then all bets are off.<\/p>\n<p>Now that I am almost old enough to have a teenaged kid, I am not so sure that I would be thrilled to see her on stage simulating various sexual acts that would make a porn star blush with envy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miley Cyrus<\/strong> is almost legal and as a superstar, she has the license to do whatever she desires because she can afford to\u2026literally. But her performance Sunday night hindered on the slightly disturbing; it was overtly scandalous and sent a wave of shock and dismay that was elaborately played out on twitter.
