• If anyone is interested, I continued this topic on Dick Lipton’s thread “It’s All Algorithms, Algorithms and Algorithms”, per this comment:“rjlipton.wordpress.com/2009/09/22/its-all-algorithms-algorithms-and-algorithms/#comment-1505″For me, it seems preferable to regard these issues as revolving not around quantum spukhafte Fernwirkung, but rather around algorithm-centric versus category-centric descriptions of QM … the advantage of the latter approach being that it suggests mathematical questions that are both reasonably interesting (IMHO) and reasonably well-posed.

  • OT, but again I want to spread this around.In Australia there seems to be a growing refusal to keep taking the Ziocaine (TM) .This article appeared in the SMH today.The Age had a bit from old Tariq Ali. (And since I remember him from when we were both young men, it is a bit of a shock to see him looking as old as he does.)
