H&M Inspired by “Dragon Tattoo” Mania

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will be celebrated and unleashed to the public in style, thanks to the film’s collaboration with H&M.

The partnership aims to breathe life into Lisbeth Salander; the focal character of the darkly haunted flick, by producing pieces that assimilate the modern, edgy and functional qualities that will lure eager fans to partake in.

Anna Norling, a designer for one of the main divisions at H&M, is confident that the work they’ve done with the film’s costume designer, Trish Summerville, will yield positive responses and returns, considering the uniqueness of the collection. The goal was to capture the agility, fierceness and street smart characteristics of Salander.

The 30-piece collection includes the drooped hoodies that have now become the character’s trademark, jeans that sport the strategically cut-out details, and the always sought after leather jackets that boasts the lived-in look.

All the goodies will be available and showcased at the Divided section of H&M, December 14th. And if you can’t make it to any of the stores, you can also try your luck online.
